Tourniket Features:
Tourniket model revolving doors consist of 3 or 4 doors with closed (not transparent) or glass wings revolving in a shaft.
Wings are manufactured of thin and aesthetic aluminum profiles joining at the central shaft, and there are special air-insulation brushes on the sides. On customer's demand, "collapsible" system allowing the wings to be manually folded around the central shaft for emergency exit, and electromagnetic locking device to prevent undesired folding can be equipped. On normal position, door would not be folded due to strong wind etc., but after the signal from emergency button or fire alarm system, it acquires the folding capability.
Cambered cheek parts could be closed (non-transparent) or glass. Non-transparent cheeks consist of sandwiched panels, while glass cheeks consist of 9 mm laminated glass with sections of thin aluminum profile. Cambered cheeks posses protective security bands to protect against getting jammed on both sides. Glass used in door wings and cambered cheeks vary in thickness but 9 mm laminated is standard. On customer's demand of maximum transparency, rotating wings can be manufactured from tempered glass without the central shaft.
Metal surface ends can be selected to match the cheek and top sides: Aluminum with electrostatic powder painting or eloxal, satin mat polished or mirror-like bright polished stainless steel , bronze coated, brass or wood are among standard options. In order to ensure maximum quality control, aluminum is painted in our establishments.
Doors have standard espagnolatte type locking and manual locking for night security.
Extra security can be provided on demand, by cambered bolted night shades covering door's external entrance. Night shades are manufactured from the same material and have same looks as cambered cheeks, and they are in complete integrity with door shaft, once they are closed.
Using Tourlock 360 locking system, door can be remotely locked in any position at any time. This way, an optional security system can be added to revolving door which can be actuated against unwanted persons.
With the help of Boon-O-Matic electromagnetic engine, door can be operated full automatically, therefore door's revolving speed can also be controlled. Automation can be applied to doors of all sizes. However it is very useful for doors of large size, thick glass or having heavy rotating wings due to preferred material and doors requiring usage ease. With the help of the motor and controlling electronic system, door revolving speed and position can be arranged.
As an alternative of full automatic versions, we have semi-automatic doors. There are no motion detectors in these doors. A low-power engine is actuated by pushing the door manually and controlling of revolving speed and stopping position are possible.
Another option, Tourlock 360N Locking System, offers an automatic revolving door used by everybody normally in daytime, and a security door which can be used by authorized people having pass-cards in nighttime. However Tourlock 360N option does not bring a fully equipped security door for in this option, people with no cards can enter with the authorized persons as long as the door keeps revolving. For fully-equipped security type revolving doors utilizing card system, please see our Tourlock model doors.
All safety elements conforming to European Safety Standards are utilized in our doors. Among these are emergency halt button, cambered cheek active and passive safety bands, handicapped buttons enabling revolving speed reduction for certain time and infrared presence detectors. Utilization of types of safety elements depends on the door size and the safety standard of the country where the door will be installed.
Full automatic Tourniket operates with single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz, 10 A electrical power. All electrical cables required should be provided by customer prior to installation.
3 winged and minimum 3400 mm diameter Tourniket is a handicapped passage door approved by Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD). Tourniket meets International Handicapped Passage requirements for your building. |
