Crystal Tourniket is a transparent revolving door by all means. It fits perfectly with modern glass sides and also in complete aesthetic harmony of glass with classical construction architecture types.

Usage of tempered and laminated glass composition minimized the number of traditional frame elements of door. Cambered surface forming its body is completely transparent, excluding the special pins and a number of small coatings required for safety and union of glass parts.  Rotating part of the door has 3 and 4 winged versions and it is made of 12 mm glass, excluding the pieces providing the union of glasses at the center and special brushes on the sides of door, providing insulation.

Structural and Functional features:

Rotating part is formed of 12 mm tempered glass by , fixing in top and bottom rotating points with special latches, without the use of any central shaft. All external sides are rounded with replaceable brush profiles of 25 mm thickness. Door wings can be folded manually to allow free passage in case of emergency.

Door top is formed of transparent and two-piece glass, and is attached on the completely glass cambered cheeks with special fixing latches tightly.

Cambered cheeks manufactured from 17 mm thickness laminated glass "frameless", are sat on its bearing in a chamber of stainless steel, buried in the ground. Vertical sides of the glass are covered with protective profiles.

In order to ensure maximum endurance, all metal surfaces in the exterior of glass are stainless steel. On customer's demand it can be designed with polyester powder painting.

Boon Edam's standard door handles are vertical or horizontal stainless-steel tubes. On demand wings can be prepared in order to allow a different type of door handle installation details.

Locking is provided by special locks on glass door wings. On demand extra security can be provided with external Cambered Bolted Night Shades. These shades having the same shape and form of the cambered cheeks, sit on stainless-steel rails attached to glass top. This door is used to close entrance opening. With the help of Tourlock 360 electromagnetic locking unit, which prevents door rotation by locking the central shaft once it is actuated, it is possible to lock the door remotely anytime.

Full-automatic operation is provided with Boon-o-Matic electromagnetic automation unit, which controls door revolving. Although it is possible for doors of all dimensions, automation is more handy with large doors. When they are not used, door wings will stay in alignment with sides of fixed cambered cheeks, to provide maximum isolation activity.

All of our products meet the requirements of machinery directive (89/392/EEC), EMC directive (89/336/EEC) and low-voltage directive (73/23/EEC).
Electrical power is single-phase, 240 V, 50 Hz, 10A. Cables should be drawn beforehand, during the preparation of installation place.

Safety Features

Whole collection of receivers ensuring conformance to European Safety Standards is provided. These are emergency halt buttons, active and passive safety rubber bands, speed decreasing buttons for disabled and infrared sensors. Requirements might depend on location and dimensions of the door.
